Brewed with our friends at Ill Mannered Brewing in Powell, Neapolinator is a huge malty bock that we packed with all that tasty richness of neapolitan ice cream smashed into a traditional style, boozy dark German lager.

16 ounce can, no dating on it that I could find. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like strawberry, vanilla, dark chocolate, cream and toffee. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some dark bread and caramel flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a nice spin on a doppelbock, worth picking up if you're able to!

From a collaboration between Outerbelt and Ill Mannered brewing, this
nice brew pours a dark lightly murky brown with a nice head of khaki foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of dark chocolate,
faint strawberry, light cream, vanilla, and roasted goodness with a touch of breaded malts.
Flavors exceed the nose with a fine presentation of dark chocolate, marshmallow cream,
dark breaded malt notes, and light strawberry. Nice mouth feel; medium body, light
carbonation, smooth, lightly coating, and finishing with a nicely balanced malt
and roasted note.

Overall, a unique hybrid that is not overly cloying and approachable!

Cheers
