I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with rich tan head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had waifs of young bourbon. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with a very subtle chocolate malt base...overpowered by big adolesent bourbon....make one's lip curl. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is more bourbon leaning than stout leaning.....
