Copenhagen 6/4 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Some weird organic forms in strong red hue on the can.
Pours hazy yellow with medium-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, very fine and almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and very much on the citric side. Light whiff of tropical fruit. Peach and papaya. Stronger citric notes of grape fruit and citrus. Pine trees. Acerbic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a surprisingly strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is citric bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine NEIPA with a good intensity and a careful balance between the sweet and bitter.
