Cool little repurposed fire station near the airport. Old brick building with big glass overhead doors a spacious courtyard in the back. Small straight bar perpendicular to the rear entrance seats about 10, with table seating inside and out. 16 beers on tap, nice variety of styles. Friendly bartenders. Parking is limited.

I stopped in at Walter Station while visiting Phoenix a couple weeks ago. When I was there, they had 14 beers on tap, with a good variety of styles including several IPAs, a coffee cream ale, and at least two goses (including a cherry one!). I particularly liked the name of one of their IPAs, "Hazing Arizona", being a near-lifelong fan of that movie -- also, it's not too bad! The hefeweizen was good; a classic take on the style, and the cherry gose was excellent, the highlight of the beers I tried here. English pale and pilsner were pretty solid as well.
The place has a cool industrial brick-metal-wood taproom with big garage doors (befitting its fire station origin) and misted outdoor seating. There were a couple TVs with sports, but the music is all 90s stuff from my high school days, so I appreciated the vibe. The bartender was a cool dude and service is good and quick up at the bar. They have a kitchen, mostly pizzas and sandwiches, and I got a Bavarian pretzel which was quite tasty indeed.
