Poured out of a crowler into one of my tulip glasses. This beer is actually an English style porter with pumpkin used in it.
This beer pours a very dark brown, almost black color with some deep ruby highlights when the light hits it. Has a slightly tan, off-white head that's about 3/4 of an inch when first poured. Has a a very roasted, chocolate and coffee malt flavor that gives way to pumpkin spice and actual pumpkin with a bit of earthy hops. Has a very similar flavor profile with a very roasted, chocolate and coffee malt flavor that has both a nice sweetness and bitterness concurrently and that's followed by the unmistakable flavors of actual pumpkin and also some pumpkin spice. All of this is rounded out with a nice earthy hop presence that provides just the right amount of hop bitterness. A really good balance of all the flavors here. Has a slightly oily and chewy and sticky, also smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. An interesting mouthfeel that also works well here. The chocolate, coffee, and pumpkin flavors all linger nicely on my palate after each sip. Very glad I got a chance to try this one.

I absolutely love the name of this one! I'm a huge ALF fan! This is a delicious pumpkin Porter that just has a nice medium note of pumpkin to it and the spices are not out of balance with the bass beer. A medium sweet front end quickly dissolves into a light chocolate and coffee roast malt notes intertwined with a little bit of pumpkin pie spice. Wish they had this on draft year round!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
