Mayflower 5.8% alc/vol White IPA, Church Brewing Co. Wolfville NS. This is a hybrid of a IPA and a Belgium Wit Beer. Pours a hazy gold colour with a fair amount of sediment and a large off white head. The smell of yeast and hops are dominant with melon and citrus notes. First sip starts of wit beer but quickly changes into IPA mood,the grassy and piney hop flavour cover up the coriander and orange peel from the Wit beer style. There is a great hop finish do to the dry hopping. Medium body good carbonation with a lingering bitterness.
