Handsome dark red-amber brew with plenty of foam in the holiday goblet. I would venture this has some cocoa and even a touch of chiles, given the Mexican-style description. All very mild and makes for a delicious dark beer in the Winter Warmer area. It's certainly in another dimension than Noche Buena. Flavors of dark roasted grain, and a hint of burnt sugar, but not at all sweet, just a malty warmth. Whatever this is, it's a highly drinkable dark brew and one of the better efforts from Brewery X.
