I tried a 5oz taster of this beer off the tapper at the brewery. It poured a clear dark amber with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle roast and grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet chocolate and grain presence The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
