this appears to be a brand in its own right, perhaps just contracted out of stillfire, didnt get the details, but its solid, everyday lager for hot weather, which makes a lot of sense in a place like georgia, where refreshment value is a key attribute for a beer to have, and this one definitely brings it. blonde and simple, bubbly and dry, but not watery or thin or too cheap tasting, which is a fine line to walk in this style, simplicity here in a good way, just a crackery pale barley base, some minerals to the water this was created with, and an only there when i go looking for it balancing hop on the back end, really not much to it, and there doesnt need to be. no corn or anything to me, not sweet even in the middle, and cleaner than a lot of its peers with a fast finish, maybe a little doughy pils malt type thing in the center and as it warms, but really it stays tight and easy the whole time, handled spicy food just fine, and is very repeatable. not sure what the cans cost since i had it on tap, but if this is a budget play, its better than most from a quality standpoint, and if its not, it still fits in okay. nice for warm georgia spring weather and should be liked by just about anyone who drinks beer...
