Copenhagen 4/2 2021- 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Sketchy drawing of a vicious-looking dog discussing with a grumpy Ram on the can.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a yeasty, funky odor mingling with fruity fermented sweetness and lighter citric notes. Humid cellar and a whiff of barnyard. sweet peach and apricot. Light tart citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger tart, sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit sharp. Light sweet undertone. Finish is dry.
More sour than Indian Pale Ale - and more yeasty than hoppy.
