Copenhagen 18/3 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a Parrot basking it’s wings on Slowburn’s characteristic white can.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin - almost transparent - layer of foam foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor of tropical fruit mingling with more moderate tart citric notes. Peach, pineapple and mango. Lime and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Appropriately bitter solid NEIPA.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, billowing foam.
Smell is fruity and juicy with notes of orange, mango and peach, along with a hint of sweetness.
Taste follows the nose and adds a hint of lemon/lime and a moderate bitterness. Very refreshing and balanced.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very Nordic take on a NE IPA, more bitter and not quite as soft as the American ones. Very tasty.
