Copenhagen 18/4 2020. 44 cl can from Beerlivery webshops. Watercolor painting of an octopus arm on the can. Slowburn seems to have a thing for maritime animals.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with a medium-sized, bubbly, white head. Settles as thin, fine, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is medium intense and balanced between malty sweetness and a sharp citric, grainy sourness. Caramel sweetness. Citrus, fresh grass.
Medium strong carbonation Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense. Medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a bit. Fairly dry finish.
Quite solid pilsener. Well balanced and with a dry touch. Not extraordinary but it hit all the right buttons.
