An extremely thick and complex wort was fermented using an english strain that left behind a good amount of residual sugars. The black nectar was then transferred to fresh bourbon barrels, where it aged for 12 months.

Copenhagen 12/3 2022. 50 cl chubby bottle from Beerlivery web-shop. Label with Greyish background with orange paint stains.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a dark, roasted odor mingling with a boozy barrel scent. Dark roasted malts. Brown sugar, leather and sweet alcohol saturated plums. Sweet dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, slightly viscous, fat, soft texture. Almost flat.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a streak of bourbon.
Solid, sweet and potent boozer.
