Copenhagen 19/12 2021. 75 cl bottle from Beerlivery web-shop. Some mysterious red figures apparently wearing big yellow wigs on a white background with pink dots. Cryptic.
Pours unclear red with a small bubbly white head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving what looks like a soda with tiny bubbles behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet fruity odor soon overpowered by a tart sour scent mingling with funky fumes. Grapes and strawberry. Tart lemon and citrus. Yeasty barnyard and sour cheese.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and acerbic. Lingering. Finish is bone-dry.
A fine take on a Sour beer from Slowburn with enough sweet fruit to relieve the overwhelming sourness a bit.
