A czech-style black lager hitting an easy-drinking 4,8% ABV. After many trips to the amazing pubs in Prague, we fell in love with this silky dark style of beer. Drinkable, refreshing and really sets the vibe for old European pub culture and ancient brewing history. Our interpretation of the style is balanced between roasty maltiness, sweetness and bitterness with a nose of toasted bread crust, dark chocolate, plums and sweetened coffee. Na zdraví!

Copenhagen 14/8 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Slowburn's usual design with a white can this tome with snow owl as poster animal.
Pours unclear dark amber with a mid-sized, off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin creamy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a lightly roasted scent. Caramel, toffee and bread. Light grainy sourness.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while into a semi-dry finish.
Solid Lager from the sweet and toasted part of town.
