Layers of Light is a New England style DIPA. It's double dry-hopped with Strata and Idaho 7, which impart huge juicy and dank aromas. It's the hoppiest beer we've ever brewed, while still maintaining the balance and drinkability which we strive for in all our offerings.

Copenhagen 16/5 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. White can in Slowburn’s usual design this time with a Lynx as poster animal.
Pours opaque, hazy, milky golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with citric scents. Peach, mango and melon. Lime and citrus. Whiff of pine trees.
Light carbonation. Fairly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Well balanced, smooth and pretty light for a DIPA. Elegant.
