Collaboration with Panimoyhtiö Tuju.
The talented brewers of the Finnish brewery TUJU visited Copenhagen back in May, and we were thrilled to invite them out to our brewery to make a collaboration brew with us! We brewed a style that we never made before and something that both our breweries were excited to create; a dry hopped export stout! We loaded this dark brew with Simcoe and Columbus hops and the result is a roasty beast with a bitter and aromatic hop bite.

Copenhagen 25/8 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black can In Slowburns usual design with an approaching wolf as poster animal.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a odor of dark, roasted malts mingling with a citric scent and a bit of alcohol. Toasted slightly burnt bread, toffee, licorice and dark chocolate. Lemon and lime. Hints of brown sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Light sweet undertone Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry,
More than decent take om a Export Stout with a nice citric touch.
