16 ounce can - $5.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, purple-pink toned body with an inch of head up top.

Smell: Tangy, juicy, sweet-tart juice -- a little Concord grape hint with, given the coconut and toastiness within, a perceived touch of bourbon flavor. Just a bit, mind you.

Taste: Sweet, tart and tangy berry taste, akin to a kid's juice -- Juicy Juice, Welch's, etc. Slightly nutty, toasty coconut taste just sorta sitting there. Sustains its tartness, though it is lightening, somewhat, on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-light carbonation. Drinks rather nicely.

Overall: So, maybe the coconut added some extra something, a bit more complexity. However, I'd have been happier without.

Not much shines through in the nose or taste, mostly Acai and no coconut or dates to speak of. This was my least favorite offering from Sun Lab so far, noting I've drank now 7 beers from them since the first release.
