This is one of those beers that has a ton of potential at first look but let’s you down a little bit on the taste. Very citrusy on the taste and smell. Very much from the peel of an orange or grapefruit. Little bit of tropical fruit. The taste is a little bit shallow. It’s certainly not bad… it’s good as a matter of fact. But it just lacks what I wanted. The taste does come off a bit boozy on the back end. This one falls just short of getting the Hammer stamp of approval.
