Cans purchased at the brewery, pick up and go style thanks to Covid-19 on April 25th 2020.
Opened and reviewed on: 4/26/20
Cloudy gold, dense haze within, short and Stout white foam cap dissipates a bit quickly.
The hops give off a rather pungent aroma of tropical and freshly squeezed o.j scented hops. Peaches, mango and pineapple. Red tropical fruit blend as well. Creamy golden malted grains have dried earth notes and sweet honey backing it up.
Mouthfeel before flavor just because it's what I notice most on the first gulp. Fresh/crisp/>>smooth/silky.. almost dry finish. Just love that.
Flavors (hops first) : tart mango puree, pithy stone fruits, dry melon, sour and dry earth. Malt side has grainy and dry golden malts that are both light and dry, but sweet and creamy along side. That's what I call "approachable complexity".
The West L.A Beer Co. (L.A stands for the Lower Ashuelot area of Keene and Swanzey New Hampshire)
Currently producing excellent brews.
