From a 16oz can, undated, purchased at the brewery 10/04/20. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.
Pours a hazy dull orange with a scant half-finger of soft soapy suds. Retention is unremarkable, leaving a spotty curtain of thin lacing.
Aroma is quite faint, clean and vaguely fruity but that’s about all I can say.
Taste is juicy and dank with minimal bitterness. Fruit juice cocktail, bhang water and a slight cattiness. Pineapple, nectarine, strawberry, and white grape juice with a little grapefruit pith at the very end.
Feel is juicy, slick and slippery, medium bodied. Despite being amply carbonated it feels somewhat limp in the glass.
Overall, a fine tasting beverage which unfortunately lost something in the canning. I had it from the tap at the brewery yesterday where it was aromatic and lively and a legitimately excellent NEIPA. Still good from the can, but not at the same level for sure.
