Brought home a few cans from my recent initial visit to this small brewery. Although the IPA was definitely quite good, I think this Czech Pilsner rated as my favorite of their products - and also rated as one of the better Pilseners I've tasted in recent months. Fortunately I had gambled and picked up a 4-pack - time for another visit in the near future with the hope it's a year-round product for the brewery.

A slight white haze inside the golden liquid. Active look with a fine white foam cap, thins out appropriately with clumpy lace styling.
The nose has some major pils/lager yeast funk happening, sour veggies, old socks and dry cheese. Herbal and spicy earthiness as well.
A clean and light first sip, lots of golden grains in the mix, with a heady depth of flavor for the style. The yeast has a major presence with sour and funky veggies, spice with more sour tones in the finish.
The feel is very light, crisp and clean, but not as jazzy or interesting as my favorite pilsners, especially in the Czech style. A bit relaxed and lagery throughout.
Overall, very tasty that might need some defining around the edges. I'm enjoying this decent, local pils. A nice vacation from the dank, hazy IPA's.
