From an undated 16oz can, procured at the brewery 04/30/21. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.

Pours a cloudy, dull orange juice-gold with two fingers of soft, lathery foam. Retention is very good, leaving a foamy cap and a heavy blanket of thick lacing.

Aroma is ripe tropical fruits. Mango, pineapple, dinner roll.

Taste follows the nose up to a point but with a harsh grain alcohol edge. Sticky-juicy but otherwise reminiscent of a fruit punch that’s gone off.

Feel is juicy upfront but falls off to thin-bodied, weak and watery further into the sip.

Overall, starts out promising but disappoints. Not undrinkable but also not a beer I’d care to revisit.
