From a 16oz can, undated. Served in a cervoise.
Pours a thin-appearing chestnut-brown with two fingers of puckered, Swiss cheese-like nesquik-coloured foam. Retention is very good, leaving a thick, sudsy collar and a tattered sheet of slippery lacing.
Nose is cereal-like, mildly fudgy with a slight metallic tang.
Taste is watery-thin and more roasty than the nose. Tasting charred cocoa nibs, toasted oats, chicory and copper.
Feel is thin and watery, relatively light bodied with semi-aggressive, seltzer-like carbonation.
Overall, it’s OK but I probably wouldn’t bother another time.
