Malt-forward on the nose with notes of caramel and biscuit shining through, Zina is a classic and sessionable English Bitter. Although the malt character is predominant, we made sure to balance things out with an assertive hop bitterness. The all-English hop bill of Challenger & East Kent Golding lend and mildly herbaceous and black tea-like character.

On cask at Birreria Volo in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This one pours a fairly light amber, with a cascading white fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This is fantastic – one of the best cask pours I’ve had in a long time. It’s got a wonderfully leafy, tea-like, and slightly bitter hop character, with a pleasant biscuity malt character.
This is fantastic. Cask is often disappointing, but not here – it’s got a really creamy, full, and biscuity feel to it, with a pleasantly floral, tea-like, and slightly spicy hop character.
This is soft, almost fluffy tasting, with a really nice and full mouthfeel – much more filling than bitters can often be.
This was extremely enjoyable – easily one of the best cask bitters, or just cask beers, in general, that I’ve had.
