The Alsace region of France is known for producing some of the best Riesling, Gewürztreminer and Pinot Gris wine. Less well known, but equally revered, are the region's unique hop varietals that produce rich floral, melon and stone fruit flavours and aromas when added to beer. Marigold is a delicate and refreshing Pilsner that utilizes Strisselspalt in the mash, boil and whirlpool phases of the brewing process. The result is floral, herbaceous and hugely refreshing.

Had on vom fass cask. Murky dulled gold for the color, clarity is murky, head is about a finger high. The taste has awesome balance and flavor of malt and yeast with light floral hops, cracker and especially bread dough is king, with minor fruits of which lemon and peach skin stand out in the background. Taste is mostly bready tones, almost has an earthy spice whisper underneath it all, pale malts and lemon rind round out. Feel is pale and sneaky bready with good body and crispness
