The beer pours a yellow, light orange color with an initial big head that settles into a small layer of off-white foam. The carbonation is not too high.
The beer has a nice ripe banana smell with some clove coming through. The wheat is clear and adds a perfumy and somewhat musty edge.
The beer is grainy and has a light dextrinous taste. The yeast adds a bananas, but the clove is hidden (maybe). The mouthfeel is a little sweet and drinkability is good.

A very nice find during one of my Bier runs in Bavarian in September of 2006. This Bier is produced by Brauerei Stempfhuber, based in Horneck/Hallertau. Best by 07.17.07... I guess it is pretty fresh...lol
Murky golden color on presentation, with a fluffy if not pillowy head sitting firmly atop. Notes of fresh cut grains, banana, and essence of clove. Smooth feel on the palate with good balance. Yet another very, very nice find, indeed.
Zum wohl!
