Artillery Brewing Co. "The Jägerkorps"
$4/10 oz. on tap @ the Drexel Hill taproom on 13 April 2024
Look: Clear, light brown body beneath a short head of off-white foam. Good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Clean. Grainy, nutty, and lightly herbal.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma with some additional caramel and soft apple. Firmly bitter and dry in the finish, as it should be, with some light herbal hops and caramel lingering.
Feel: Medium bodied and lightly crisp.
Overall: Nice attempt at an approachable Dusseldorf-style altbier.
