A nice Golden Ale, with hints of caramel with a distinct malt taste.

Perfect for all kinds of food.

Had Folköl in June 2017 on Gotland, Sweden, poured from 33-CL. bottle, label stamped bäst före "2018/01/19," into small tumbler.

This is one of the low gravity beers that can be sold in places other than Systembolaget; I'm told Folköl is a term to mean such beers, and literally translates as "people's beer."

What the brewer calls a "nice Golden Ale, with hints of caramel," pours deep whiskey brown with a 1/2-finger, quickly-dissipating light-tan head. Aroma is spicy and malty, and on drinking you get hop bite, light caramel and roast malt. Perhaps because it is an amber ale, or malty golden ale with caramel, this has more flavor than expected from a 3.50 ABV beer.
