Pint on tap at their homebase.
Appearance: It's a bit dark in here but it appears to be a dark, clear amber/cherry color. One finger eggshell head recedes quickly. Not much lacing.
Aroma: Malt, grass and a touch of dark fruit.
Taste: A little fruitier than a typical Scottish ale, but definitely malt-forward. Some hop bite in background. A little bit of a woody character.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and easy.
Overall: A decent beer, but not their best. Their rye ale and porter are go-to's.
