One of our fastest selling beers, this is a refreshing German Hefeweizen with a citrusy lightness that belies its strength. Great on a hot summer day. Unfiltered.

On tap at the source.
Comes to the table a hazy straw color with a short lived bubbly white head. Aromas of light spicy bread, clove and yeasty phenols. Little to no hop presence. The flavor is sweet bread with a spicy edge. Lots of clove and light yeasty mineral notes. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Easy enough to drink, nothing flawed here, but nothing horribly interesting either.

Poured on-tap and served in a vase, the beer is a cloudy, bright, orange-yellow coloring with a light, fluffy, bright white head. Aromas of bread, citrus, butter, and clove...very subtle and well blended. Flavors of biscuit and roasted grain chaperoned by a steady orange and lemon citrus blending. Light spicing of clove and coriander. The aftertaste is the roasty and clove spiced blending leading into a smooth, clean finish. Light and well balanced.

(Originally from 8-10-2006) One of the better ones I have had from Liberal Cup. Looks great - nice thick white head with murky yellow body. Sweet yeasty smell. Tastes sweet... vanilla? fruit? light body. Very good, definitely one of the better summer ales I’ve had.

served in pint glass at the liberal cup
heavily hazed pale yellow with a head that disappeared fast; spotty lacing. light floral, banana nose with some yeast. tangy citrus taste with a slight hops snap on the back of the palate. smooth creamy mouthfeel in front of mouth but a but too much carbonation evident on back of tongue. an unspectacular but not terrible wheat brew. i could have 1 on a really hot day i guess...

About what one would expect. Pour was the color of cloudy goldenrod, head left in a hurry. I was intrigued by the grassy aroma, but when tasting, the overall impression was of slight bubblegum. Medium mouthfeel, the carbonation was very pleasant. Was easyy to drink, not over or underwhelming,
