East Regiment Beer Co.

This is slightly larger than a hole in the wall on a side street where the public only passes on their way to the main parking garage near the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. Counter service but the servers will deliver your food to where you sit.

The vibe is very informal and fun because of the servers here. They know the beers but that might be because there are only six on tap when I visited. There are board games of which many patrons take advantage. As the afternoon continued, the place got busier but never felt hurried.

There's a sandwich board for food. Basic but good. Swag comes in the form of t-shirts. I think the logo is pretty cool -- a bearded pilgrim with a musket and broom (it's Salem after all) cross behind him.
