Cruisin’ around in your Hugger Orange Whip back in the day was a classic. Inspired by the classic muscle car color Hugger Orange, this American orange Wheat Ale reminds us of another nostalgic piece of americana… the Dreamscicle!”

Had on tap. Murky golden pour with visible carbonation, white head and moderate lacing. Light wheat serves as the backbone aroma to the orange, vanilla and coriander, too much coriander in my book. Taste starts with the orange creamsicle that is promised, but the wheat tastes under done and the coriander is misplaced, just kind of there oddly sticking out. Feel is fizzy and bright with decent sweetness, wheat needs to be more of a presence here. I appreciate what they are going for here, but some edits and tweaks would go a long way

Pours a pretty clear golden color - however there is a ton of sediment suspended in the beer. Lightly effervescent. Three finger white bubbly head forms on the beer and then collapses leaving just a thin layer of foam on top of the beer. Aroma comes across like a orange creamsicle as that vanilla and orange interplay on the aroma. But then the coriander come through giving it this odd spicy note that really clashes with the orange creamsicle aroma.
Taste again follows that same pattern - orange creamsicle comes across from the orange and vanilla overlaid on the wheat base, which is fine, but then you get the coriander and spiciness comes through and just clashes with the more sweet focused initial presentation. Fizzy, spritzy carbonation. Light and easy drinking.
Overall, I feel like the coriander with the orange/vanilla/lactose just doesn't work well together - its like this beer doesn't know what it wants to be. Can't say I'd ever want to drink this one again.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. Orange-copper body with a foamy off-white head. Aroma sweet and a bit odd: orange, vanilla, cream - creamsicle like. Flavors are similar to aroma with notes of cracked wheat mixed with the orange, vanilla, and lactose; mild earthy bitterness. Medium body, ample carbonation, balanced finish. I am not a fan of orange creamsicles, so for me these flavors don't meld well.
