this place is really cool, looks and feels brand new, stunning setting, really a wonderful place to sit and enjoy some fresh brews. its situated up on a hill overlooking the bay, picturesque alaskan scenery here, a marina across the road, mountain peaks in the distance. glorious patio out front on a sunny afternoon, tons of seating out there, spacious inside too though, all open feeling with the brewery off to one side and a restaurant area on the other side of the bar which may operate as a separate business, we did not eat here. they had an impressive list of beers, basic styles and some innovation, i loved a classic schwarzbier, but was also pleased with a spruce tip red and a traditional wit, so they can cover some ground in here. seems like the attention to detail and overall execution is quite high here on the beer side. they were rather busy but the service was prompt and professional, no complaints at all. this is a very cool spot to take in the scenery and try some very solid local craft beer, i love their vibe and could have sat here all evening. this is the only brewery i was able to visit in juneau and i would definitely recommend it!

The latest spot to open in Juneau. Large open taproom, lots of big communal tables, a few smaller tables around, an epic patio with fireplace/heaters and a great view of Auke Bay. Large merch area and views to the brewhouse. Kitchen (Red Spruce) now open, serving ecclectic high-end international cuisine, not what you'd expect for typical brewery fare. A wide variety of (mostly classic) styles on tap during my most recent visit. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Parking can be a challenge at peak hours, as the lot is shared with a few other businesses.
