Poured on tap into a snifter glass.
Creamy topped dark tan head, settling to a nice khaki collar, on a walnut brown very dark body.
Fruity and vanilla nose on the aroma at first, then some nice thick roast and soft oak. Tends to hit a bit estery but nicely. Excellent barrel notes out of this, soft butterscotch, caramel, and almost a fruited bitter apricot.
Palate is real nice. Creamy and bold with soft roast body, light cream and coffee, with an estry and tangy twinge. Fruit quality gets a little large and borderline acidic, but much of the classic barrel caramel, vanilla and barrel oak is real nice.
