"This amber lager emulates the Mexican brewing technique of a traditional Vienna lager. The use of over 80% European Vienna malt gives it a toasty/bready flavor and aroma, while the addition of flaked corn lightens the body up a touch. "Buena onda" is an idiom that roughly means good vibes."
5 oz pour on tap. Pours a dark amber with a moderate off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature toasted malt with some caramel and spicy notes. Mouthfeel is a little bit harsh but not off-putting. Beers like this remind me that I need to get more Vienna lagers in my life!
