True to style. Previous review here is bewildering. Head brewer studied in Bavaria. He nails this. I used to drink at Baltimore Brewing Co- gold medal class brewpub for pils, weizen, dopplebock etc. If you prefer American style hefe, this is not for you. The pils from here is also superb.

This is the strangest looking Hefeweizen I’ve ever seen. Very cloudy like a milkshake. No head. It also has a very un-hefe nose, that has strong notes of banana. The banana comes through in the taste, which is also a little bitter. Overall an interesting beer but not a very good one. In a blind tasting, I wouldn’t identify this as a Hefeweizen.
