Another beer consumed at the Bistro dipa fest in 2023. That was almost 9 months ago. And yet here I am, adding the beer to this Next Glass database, but also reviewing for the same Next Glass entity. I bring the advocacy to Next Glass.
Pours a golden copper color with a tiny bit of haze, but a big deft 2/3" white head with good retention. Amarillo and Enigma hops combine for the aroma, its a citrus, orange and grapefruit meets hay in a way. Enigma seems like a poor man's Nelson, I say that because it rarely plays out as described in the agricultural tug job. Mild grape note.
The taste brings a little bit of that green grape note even further. Bitterness is middle of the road, not harsh. Hides alcohol pretty well. Its got some dank, but its not huge. A little stone fruit note to accompany the bigger pine note. Body relatively light, nothing too heavy or special malt wise. Enough for bouyancy. I don't think I've ever seen this brewery package anything, but would buy.
