Continuing this week/day's tradition of Slice beer reviews, this one pops, possibly my favorite Slice beer ever. Surprised to see it listed as a hazy ipa. It was barely cloudy and not so much hazy. Also, this is the double dry hopped edition, so I thought that was the accounting for the barely less than clear beer in my hands.
Pours a golden color, a light obscured clarity that I thought was due to the double dose of hopping. Two D's for the stated reasons, a double dose of pimping/dry hopping if you will. And boy is that hopping through the roof, Nelson popping hard up in here with all the dank onion, weed, diesel notes you can shake a stick at. Then there's Strata which runs that strawberry cough in here.
Taste, yeah man, just as expected, lush hop notes, crisp minimalist body, I didn't feel the hazy part, just seemed like a west coast ipa to me. It did hide the alcohol really well so I can "feel" it in some regard possibly. Big fan of this beer, straight up world class first tier hoppy goods.

Sweet, tropical hoppy, and Nelson hop nose on this one! Nice aromatics! Taste follows with a sweet, citrus bitter vibe. This is good, but thin for a double IMO.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
