First review on BA. Had this at the Double IPA festival on 2.8.20. This won the people's choice award for dipa. Same brewery also won people's choice for their TIPA.

Pours a brilliantly clear golden color with 1/2" white head. Looks great. Centrifuge all up in the business. Mosaic, Citra and CTZ (nice spot) meld for a great nose. Best of the competition. When you want your weed all draped in tropical and citrus fruit, here you go. Smells like the shit that they charge $50 an 1/8th for. They went hard on the sexy aroma hops.

You know what is nice? The taste is pushed by the aroma hops, yes, but the firm bitterness of the Simcoe comes out of nowhere and stands right up to all that nose fluff. Reminds me a lot of how dry Boneyard can get their bigger delicious hoppy beers with the most minimalistic pale toasted 2 row body. Its just candied tropical fruit, weed and a west coast barley backbone that is crisp and dry. This was one of those beers that the people's choice award got right. Easily the best thing I had all day, including stops elsewhere beyond the dipa fest.
