9/29/2022 batch! Sweet Simcoe tropical hoppy and piney, mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a super clean, piney, and trop-hoppy bitter finish. The sweetness upfront balances really well with that lingering piney finish. If there were such a thing as a crushable triple, this would be it! Ha! So Clean! Great batch!

Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a one finger head; spots and shards
Smell: Somewhat dank with passion fruit and pine aromatics
Taste: The bitterness builds in this Triple IPA from the outset with the passion fruit adding a bit of fruit; the dank, pine tones emerge strongly, through the middle and drive home the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation; slight warmth in the gullet
Overall: I have had a few Triple IPAs that were darn near undrinkable - way too boozy, bitter or both; in this case, we have a Triple IPA that balances all the elements and hides the ABV surprisingly well
Thanks, fudanchu, for the opportunity
