Well we're just cranking out all the first reviews of beer on this Next Glass owned website, ever. Here's another one.
Pours a very lightly cloudy yellow, makes a thin 1/4" white flimsy bubbled head. Other pics look cleaner than mine. Aroma has a nice mix of old school and new school, reliable, consistent Centennial giving the tree needle vibe and grapefruit. Familiar interplay of berries meets tangerine Mosaic x Citra, but hey, run me some Columbus so it has a light weed presence. Hey I'm thinking the namesake will play out as the highest attribute about now.
The taste has more of the Centennial staked out than any other hop. More bitterness than most Slice beers, a mouthfeel not as crisp as many of their non hazies, but a great job making 8.5% pretty easy to drink. There's some lighter influence of a light tropical berry note alongside the citrus rind. Its a pretty good beer, but probably one of my lesser rated beers from Slice. Definitely smells nice though.
