Crystal clear, transparent, lively, and very pale yellow. Very good head production, retention, and lacing. I would prefer a WC IPA to be a touch darker, although that's a minor quibble and entirely subjective.
Bright, grassy, citric nose; minor to modest dankness. Grapefruit, pine, lemon, peach, flowers, grass. Light pale grains. Smells bitter, if one can smell bitterness (I suppose technically, one cannot smell any of the general taste categories).
Bracingly bright and bitter up front, leading to an oily and moderately dank middle, and a bitter, clean finish. Grapefruit peel, peach, lemon, ruby red grapefruit, pine.
Very crisp and filling mouthfeel; it's thin enough that you could (foolishly) crush it, but thick enough that it punches well above its weight class, delivering the kind of presence (but not sting) that one normally finds in the 8-9% ABV range. Alcohol is present but not harsh. Very light malt base, grainy and pale, with just the tiniest touch of toast; lacks the caramel base you might expect from some (but certainly not all) WC IPAs. The focus here is definitely on the hops.
I'm absolutely loving this throwback West Coast IPA. I'm unfamiliar with the Nectaron hop varietal, with which this IPA has been exclusively hopped, but it seems to deliver a similar amount of acids, bitterness, and flavor as a blend of other hops might produce (similar to Falconer's Flight, perhaps, in that respect). Execution is perfectly clean. Every sip is better than the last, somehow.

16oz tallboy can received through the good offices of @JayO'Rear, apparently from Dimidiata. It takes a village, indeed. Per the stamp on the bottom of the can, it was canned on March 11, 2021.
Poured into an IPA glass, this is an astoundingly clear golden a by lmber with many many tiny bubbles arcing skyward, and a big off-white sudsy had that takes its time dropping and leaves lots of lace behind. The clarity leaves me to presume it is a west coast style IPA.
Unusual nose, quite perfumey and fruity, in that order.
Lightly fruity, with notes of peach and citrus. Light and dry, very drinkable.
Fairly light bodied, and with a light, slightly oily, almost crisp mouthfeel.
Most unusual IPA I've had in a while, for Nectaron is an unusual hop to be sure. While it looks like a WCIPA, it doesn't drink like one, but rather seems it's own style. Very drinkable stuff, however. I could see having several. Thanks for shipping it to me, Jay!
