Wow, I'm writing the first review for this beer. Picked up on the way to SFBW, so early February 2022. This place is pretty far from I-80.
Amazing clarity in the yellow pour, excellent 5/6" white head. This is a damn fine looking beer, but wait, there's more! Oh yeah, the nose hits on this. Mosaic weed tropical dankness. More weed smells for Columbus, requisite citrus impact of Citra. Its all here man.
Taste is absolutely impressive. Good Simcoe bitterness backbone in the mouthfeel. The taste drops a green hoppiness still pushing the overlap between hops and weed. Columbus racking up bodies, pairs so well with what Mosaic is doing. Two kinds of dank. The body is stripped down and out of the way letting the big rack of hoppiness get motorboated while the alcohol is totally being smuggled in the gas tank out of the way and almost undetectable.
This is probably the best new hoppy beer of 2022 that I've had.
