Hey hey, gotta love the marketing imagery here, harken back to cutting school to play this arcade game. Even bought the stickers too.
Anyhoo, great clarity to this beaming golden pour. Hits the 3/4" white head line. Its pretty dang close to perfect if it isn't. The aroma pops hard on the dry, bitter, pine needle forest in the most drought stricken summertime.
The taste hit more of the brisker wintertime pine tree forest compared the dry summer nose. Its not ibu wars bitterness, but its pronounced for this day and age. Rounded out with some grapefruit rind like notes and a hit of melon. But its definitely not problematic, just firm. Mouthfeel dry and bitter, but likeable upside some crisp 2 row barley. Well carbonated.
Its funny how my daughter calls my gf "Ken" much like the character on the label. Haryuken or something. I hope to buy more, you can never put enough Street Fighter like stickers on the back of stop signs in town. Oh and don't forget the bridge before Coal Canyon on I-80 in Northern Nevada, there's like almost 100 different beer stickers on it. Add to it sucka.

Catty, piney nose. Taste is grapefruit, mango, and an absolute blast of dank pine. Crisp, dry mouthfeel. The best that Simcoe has to offer. I absolutely loved this beer. Seek it out and enjoy the homage to games of the past.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
