Yet another entry in the late 2023 canon of beers. Pours hazy yellow. 4 on the 10pt haze scale. Thinish 1/4" white head. Poured into a 1918 Marquette pint glass.
Aroma hits of pineapple, lychee, grape, grass, strawberry, weed, guava, passion fruit. Its quite the medley.
Taste smacks largely of pine, grapefruit and tropical fruits. The body and yeast seem to contribute nothing in terms of taste. The haziness doesn't really diminish the bitterness, and at 7.5%, you can also get a little hint of the booziness. Not in a problematic way, in an analysis way. For having the word kush in the namesake, it didn't really have too much weed-iness to it. More in the nose than taste. Little hits of green pepper as it warms.
Despite repeated assertions, people still did not get down on Friday. So while this is a good beer, it might not be up to Slice's par/handicap when it comes to hoppy beers. Been awhile, hopefully I can score a case of Slice before softball season, story of my life.

Thin orange haze. Nose is green and melon-y. Taste is cantaloupe, grapefruit, Flintstone vitamins, and dank greens. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. Slight lingering bitterness.
