The combination of Citra, Chinook, Columbus, and Columbus Cryo hops seamlessly blends the new school with the old school, as an explosion of citrus combines with a piney symphony to serenade your senses. It's as if you're plucking a perfectly ripe grapefruit right off the tree, with a zestiness that balances the rich, earthy undertones of the pine. "Trimmin' Trees" isn't just a beer; it's a round of disc golf in a glass, a hole-by-hole hoppy journey that'll leave you shouting "Ace!"

Had this on tap at the source and also picked up a four pack of cans a few weeks later. Actually seemed to prefer the cans on this one, but both good. Score will be an average of the two as usual.

Pours a clear golden color, ample clarity, 3/5" white head. Sexy ass beer. The aroma is that new school brisk C hop, bringing some icy Simcoe like pine tree notions upside ya dome alongside that citrus grove a bloomin'. Would ya believe this is the least impressive aspect of the beer?

The taste bangs away that old school C hop rind and pine goodness with some orange blossoms of the Citra hop. Briskly bitter right in the wheelhouse kind of way. Easy to drink 58 ibu level kind of stuff (guess). Light grain, neutral yeast. I haven't had one on the disc golf course, but you just know this hits somehow even better when on the links. Find a truck and fire it up lean on the gas on off the clutch and leave Dallas in the dust.

This is one to check out if you're an old school west coast ipa fan who is leaning on lagers in your old age (i.e., me).

Straw yellow w/ hints of twilight sun, capped by a finger of foamy white head & sturdy lacing. Aromas of pine trees for days, so much that it envelops the room. Apple peel, red berries, and oranges to boot. Taste follows w/ intense citrus, pepper, earth, allspice, and clean bitterness. Mouthfeel is prickly, grabbing, and consuming. It keeps drawing me back in for this experience that can only be quantified as mesmerizing. This is a great beer.

Sweet old-school hoppy and a floral, orange citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a super light, clean, and crisp, old-school piney-hoppy bitter finish. Yum! So crushable! This is good!
