Welcome to bArF's #703 beer added to this Next Glass owned beer database.
Pours a mostly yellow light orange color with 1" white head into a Standing Stone Brewing pint glass (are they around still?). Its fruited, so the lack of clarity is somewhat expected. The aroma is that of a tropical sour, they tend to be affordable compared to other fruits. Guava, passion fruit seem to be the most prominent smells, much less pineapple methinks.
The taste is everything you come to expect from a fruited kettle sour. You know, fruit and sourness. Where this one gets interesting is the 8.1% abv. That used to just be Upland and Bruery territory. It isn't all that noticeable, but it does have a stronger burn edge to it than ones at half the abv, and it all makes sense. This four pack wasn't purchased for me, I have a friend and ladyfriend who dig this style of beer. I'm ok with it. I dig the artwork on the label.
