I don't see any date listed on the can or the label.
Appearance: The body is cloudy and a tea gold-brown. The head is medium-sized, fluffy, and tobacco stained off-white. It has pretty good head retention but not much lacing.
Aroma: The aroma smells like cracker jacks. It smells exactly like cracker jacks, with the caramel popcorn and peanuts.
Taste: Up front there is toffee and caramel flavor. Towards the middle of the palate there are peanuts and caramel flavor. It tastes lightly toasted. The flavor is extremely close to cracker jacks.
Mouthfeel: The body is medium and leaning towards light. There is a light slickness to the beer. Carbonation feels low and there is a mellow toasted bitterness but mostly the beer leans towards this toffee-like sweetness.
Overall: The beer tastes and smells just like cracker jacks. This would be an awesome beer for a baseball game if you are looking for something a bit sweet and toasty, or during the fall if you are looking for a caramel popcorn treat for Halloween. The sweetness can be a bit overwhelming at times but as a whole it is really good. It would work well in a mix-a-six or in a sampler lineup. I could drink it again if I were looking for a baseball theme or Halloween theme beer but it wouldn't be a regular purchase. I do recommend giving it a shot, especially in the late summer days when you are nostalgic. My can differed from what is listed here, and is "ABV 7.2%"

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
