A: Pours a clear medium to dark mahogany in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate amber + medium golden yellow + ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of toasted + lightly roasted + pale + caramel malts with light amounts of caramel + light fruit (apple + grape) sweetness. Light aromas of British Ale Yeast and earthy hops. Hints of tobacco and nuttiness.

T: Upfront there moderate flavors of toasted + lightly roasted + pale + caramel malts with light amounts of caramel + light fruit (apple + grape) sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of tobacco + nuttiness along with traditional British Ale Yeast. Finally there is a light presence of earthy hops which contribute a light amount of muted bitterness. Light amount of lingering toasted + roasty malt flavors.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly light mouthfeel. Very enjoyable malt profile and not to much sweetness. Decent American example of the style and definitely reminds me of afternoons spent in wood-paneled pubs.

Poured from a 32 ounce crowler into a pint glass.
Appears amber, brown with a nice foamy head that dropped quickly
Smells malty sweet.
Taste follows the nose, sweet, with enough hoppy bitterness to keep my interest.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very good example of the style that I would definitely order again.
